DRAT Construction is proud to build DRAT Homes, bringing our “job done right” standard to every step, from the first dig to final walkthrough. While we still take on select client projects, DRAT Homes lets us build start-to-finish the DRAT way: solid craftsmanship, smart finishes, and pricing real people can afford. We also document each build here and on social media so buyers can follow along with a transparent, behind-the-scenes look. Starting on House #2 soon!
Now building in Holden, MO: a 1,200 sq. ft. ranch with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms at 305 E. Pacific St. This home is being offered for $190,000, even though a comparable appraisal came back at $250,000 (see photos). The home shown at 805 S. Pine Street is the same layout and represents what this build will look like. That means you’re buying with built-in equity (approximately $60,000)—an approach we’re committed to repeating to help first-time buyers and seniors access homes that would normally be out of reach.
Planned exterior + finish details: a 6’ x 30’ front porch with beams and a country-style hip roof backed by a gable, a single 3’ front door, and two 3’ x 5’ front windows on each side of the door to give a double-window look. Inside, ceilings will be flat throughout, with crown molding in every room. Bedroom windows will be 3’ x 5’, and there will be no bathroom window.
